This project will deliver an integrated engagement and customised service. The services delivered will be advice and guidance, training and employment support and will focus on outreach activities in the local community with an emphasis on disadvantaged groups such as ethnic minorities specifically
targeting women of all ages without qualifications. Geographically the emphasis will be on North West SRB6 areas.
The outreach workers will engage with clients within local community to raise their employability and assist them into mainstream provision.
At the UKAWC you can receive support in the following ways:
Training: We provide a variety of training courses, including ESOL, basic computer training, customer care, childcare and we can arrange courses to cater for your needs.
Preparing for employment: We can help with preparation of your CV, completion of job application forms and help you prepare for job interviews. We liaise with local job centres to match you with the right job.
Sign Posting: We have strategic links with local colleges and other educational establishments to sign post you to courses that best suit your needs.
