Fair Citieis
Funding has been secured from the LSC to deliver the one year pilot Fair Cities project.
The Fair Cities Project, which is being launched covers Lozells, Aston and East Handsworth. The project is split into two sections, which are Employment and Training Support.
Employment
This project aims to provide employment support which incorporate:
- Advice and guidance.
- Job search assistance.
- Support with applications.
- Interview preparation.
- Support with applications.
- Interview Preparation.
- C.V. (Curriculum Vitae) support.
- Confidence Building.
Training Support
The following is training which will be provided through the Fair Cities project.
- ESOL (English as a Second Language).
- I.T. Courses
- Literacy and numeracy level 1..
- Various NVQ courses.
- Skills for life training.
